7/12 – PwC business breakfast on a new European General Data Protection Regulation

PwC is pleased to invite you to a business breakfast on a new European General Data Protection Regulation on 7 December.

GDPR comes into effect in May 2018. It amplifies and specializes the requirements of processing personal data and considerably increases the fines for violation of the regulation – up to 20 million euro or 4% of the global turnover of the company.

It also applies to not only European, but also foreign European-oriented companies. That is why many Russian companies are soon going to fall under the jurisdiction of both Russian legislation on personal data and GDPR.

During the business breakfast, we are going to discuss such issues as: specific of GDPR and its’ difference from Russian legislation, when it is necessary to meet the requirements of the regulation for Russian companies and which steps do we need to take for implementing new requirements.
