December 15th meeting with the management of Vodokanal St.Petersburg and Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (Rosprirodnadzor) of the North-West Region, devoted to the discussion of the questions concerning wastewater treatment, water supply and sanitation, and changes related to the implementation of a new Federal Law of Russian Federation #416-FL “About water supply and wastewater”. The following questions were discussed: organization of production quality control of waste waters inside of the enterprise: control periodicity, range of the quality of waste water control indicators, features of developments and procedure of approval of the VAT project for CVS, etc.

December 17th SPIBA in cooperation with Bank “Saint-Peterburg” held a business breakfast “Summing up 2014. The forecast for economic growth and ruble exchange rate prospects for 2014”. The invited speakers of the meeting were Igor Baranov, Executive Associate Dean, GSOM St. Petersburg University, and Olga Lapshina, the Head of the Analytical Department of financial market directory of Bank “Saint-Petersburg”. During the event the speakers talked about the general economic situation as well as changes on the exchange market and forecast of further exchange rate development 2015.

December 18th SPIBA held a seminar during which the participants learned how to make presentations with concept, how to structure any kind of information in order to make audience interested in the subject and also how to speak publicly with slides or without any. The instructors of the seminar were Andrei Kolesnikov business trainer, an expert in presentations and public speaking and Kermеn Mandzhieva, PR-director of MegaFon of the North-West Branch of OJSC “MegaFon” in St. Petersburg.

December 25th the Governor of Saint-Petersburg organized a meeting with the members of SPIBA as well as with the investors that are present in the city and have the aims of further activities that will create advantageous conditions for the realization of the current investment projects in the city as well as for the attraction of the new investors.
