November 6th the SPIBA HR Committee held a roundtable discussion on the topic of “HR trends of 2014”. Maria Kupriyanova, Case, made a presentation on the topic of “2014 salary level analysis.” Alexander Egorov, ANCOR Professional, talked about the main trends of the labor market of St. Petersburg in the current economic situation. The special guest of the meeting was Julia Gorokhova, Director of the Employment Center of St. Petersburg, who gave the meeting guests insight into the activities and opportunities of the organization she represents.

On November 19th, continuing the series of “Look@It” events which focus on success stories of major brands in the St. Petersburg market, SPIBA held the Look@Scania tour. Ino Moberg, Managing Director of “Scania-Peter,” gave a presentation about the company, its structure and main products represented on the Russian market. The presentation continued with a guided tour through the production plant during which the participants had an opportunity to ask questions.

November 24th – The SPIBA Industrial Committee organized a lecture on the topic of “The 4th Industrial Revolution: Digitalization of the Supply Chain.” The lecture was given by Dr. Axel Schulte, Department Head at Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, Dortmund/ Germany; Interim Director CIL Research Center for International Logistics at St. Petersburg State University; Co-Founder and Managing Partner SCNet Management Consultants GmbH, Berlin/ Germany.
