April 7 from 14.00 to 20.30 the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater will host the second charity festival on the birthday of the AdVita fund “One day from life …”.

April 7 the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater will host the second charity festival on the birthday of the AdVita Foundation “One Day from Life …”. This year the themes of the festival are time and memory. Musical and literary compositions and fragments will unite in a single whole: one day from the life of a person, generation, a city, a country. Music of different time will be performed by the Chamber Orchestra Divertissement under the direction of the Honored Artist of Russia Ilya Ioff. The poems will be read by well-known musicians, including Svetlana Surganova, and by actors, the actors of the Alexandrinsky Theater, BDT of G.A. Tovstonogov, the Lensovet theater . “One Day from Life …” are four concerts that will be held from 2 pm to 8.30 pm:

– The time of Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy in his music and the memories of his contemporaries.

– Children’s music and children’s poems in Leningrad in the mid-20th century.

– Alfred Schnittke and Fyodor Dostoevsky, his favorite writer.

– Boris Tishchenko and Anna Akhmatova, whose poetry inspired him whole his life.

 

You can come to any of them or a few. All raised money will be transferred to the treatment of AdVita fund’s patients, the people with oncological diagnoses. And you can also make a gift for the fund’s birthday: to buy a ticket for any of the concerts and send it to us by e-mail pr@advita.ru,  and we will be able to give it to someone from our wards. Then your money will help twice: the donation will go to buy medicines, and the ticket will please people who spend many months in the hospital ward.
