Christmas gifts for adult wards of AdVita Fund 2016
New Year and Christmas are without doubt favorite holidays, not only for children but also for adults.
More than 70% of the wards of the Fund – are over 18 years old. Most of them come to our city for a long-term treatment from other cities and will be away from loved ones at these family holidays. Before the New Year, many give gifts to the children with cancer. Much less frequently turn to us with a proposal to congratulate adults. Although our adult wards are not waiting for the arrival of Santa Claus, we really want to give them a piece of warmth.
We hope to collect at least 1,500 gifts for the patients of 4 municipal and federal clinics.
Here is the list of gifts:
- a mug or a travel mug
- a scarf
- warm socks (cheerful, with a Christmas theme)
- a plaid
- a tea set
- a notebook, a diary
- a book
- a board game
- a set for creativity
It would be great if you put the gift in a nice package, but, please, do not wrap it in paper. (We need to see what it is to understand who it is better to give to).
