GSOM SPbU: February 2021 Start of a training program ” Using the care delivery value chain in the inpatient hospital’s strategy development “

In February 2021, the Graduate School of St. Petersburg University, in cooperation with some St. Petersburg clinics, is implementing a training program ” Using the care delivery value chain in the inpatient hospital’s strategy development ” (while maintaining a complex epidemiological situation until February, the program will be implemented in May 2021).

The program is aimed at top-management of inpatient hospitals and their medical departments. During the training, students will develop care delivery value chains in the provision of medical care for various pathologies and learn how to use them to improve the quality of medical services, in particular, and the strategic planning of the activities of hospitals and their departments, in general.

The training will take place both within the walls of the GSOM SPbU, and in a number of clinics in St. Petersburg. In developing the program, the experience of the retraining program “Management in Health Care” delivering was used, and its teaching staff was involved. That program is one of 18 programs (Harvard, Duke, Berkeley, etc.), which has the prestigious GENiE certification.
