24/07 – Hotel Astoria invites friends to its first Vintage & Home Market

For the last 110 years, Hotel Astoria has been a home away from home for travelers from all over the world, and we understand the importance of comfort, calm and tranquility. That is why on July 24 we invite our friends and partners, hotel guests and St Petersburg residents to our first Astoria Vintage & Home Market.

The period of self-isolation that the world went through, has turned people to their homes, families, traditions, a porcelain cup inherited from Grandma. We again started to invite guests over, cook, set the table, grow plants, think about the color of table linen and the scent of home. This quiet world of things will tell its stories at Astoria Vintage & Home Market on July 24.

Historical Winter Garden will host galleries, collectors, small craft producers, florists and artists, united by the idea of Home and everything related to it: sensations, emotions, impressions and memories. Here one can purchase an old cup with a rich history, choose a painting for summer house and leaf through old books. The Ballroom will be the location for lectures and masterclasses by decorators, designers and experts.

And of course we have invited to participate our dear friends – charity foundations Perspektivy and Anton Is Here, so our guests can buy the beautiful creations made by their teams.

The market will include both well-known members of interior and design industries, such as Bulthaup Design Gallery and Galerie 46 and small antiques stores, porcelain and ceramics producers, vintage jewelry collectors and florists.

Following Sunday market traditions, we will have a street food style café by Astoria in the foyer, with craft hot dogs, homemade ice cream and refreshing drinks.

Astoria Vintage and Home Market is the place to visit to learn stories of things, to see people and to get new knowledge, and above all – to be pleased and impressed. We plan to have the market quarterly.

There is no entrance fee for visiting – come with the whole family and bring friends to buy gifts for your home and yourself.
