SPIBA Executive Committee Election
We would like to announce the upcoming election of three SPIBA Executive Committee members due to the end of their two-year term.
In accordance with the SPIBA Charter, the election to the Executive Committee must be held at the General Meeting of SPIBA members. The meeting will be held on the 25th of February 2015.
This is your opportunity to contribute to the Association, to make sure that your opinions and ideas are part of SPIBA’s future. Executive Committee members meet at least once a month to decide the policy and actions of the Association (including budgets and expenditures). EC members also may head an independent committee within the organization or lead a specific area of SPIBA’s operation. EC members do not receive any financial compensation for their work but their input is highly valuable and recognized by SPIBA members.
At the moment the SPIBA EC consists of 9 regular members. The EC positions of Stefan Van Doorslaer, Elena Marchenko and Sergey Spasennov expired. We express our sincere gratitude to Stefan, Elena and Sergey for their highly valuable contribution to SPIBA. We hope that they will submit their nominations for the election to continue the work to the benefit of our association.
Candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated by other SPIBA members. Please send your candidate profile, including your motivation to become a member of the Executive Committee and your ideas about SPIBA development, in both English and Russian (not more than one page in each language) to the SPIBA Office via e-mail at email@example.com , or tell us the name and contact number of a SPIBA member you would like to nominate.
The deadline for the submission of candidate profiles is Thursday, February 19th, 2015. Members will be able to vote either via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax +7(821) 325 9092, or at the SPIBA General Meeting on February 25th, 2015.
