SSE Russia opened the admission for EXECUTIVE MBA General Management of the 2022/24 academic years

The Stockholm School of Economics has been present on the Russian market for 25 years. Its mission started with short programs for entrepreneurs and managers. Having seen the high demand for more serious education, SSE Russia launched its first group of Executive MBA General Management in 2000. Nowadays the School launches two EMBA groups each year. As of 2021, SSE Russia already has had 40 groups graduating from the program and almost 1,300 alumni.

The next groups will be launched in the autumn of 2022. The launch of GM23 group (English speaking group) is scheduled for October, 12 and GMR15 (Russian speaking group) for November, 23.

There is a special Early Bird offer for the English-speaking group valid until March, 1 2022. For the Russian-speaking group, the offer deadline is extended up to April, 1 2022.

Same as in the previous years, SSE Russia is on the list of business schools that consider accepting a grant from the finalists of the Leaders of Russia competition. Dozens of Leaders have already completed our Executive MBA program and been appointed to executive positions in government and business structures.

SSE remains a leader among business schools in the world. According to the Financial Times (FT) 2021 rankings, the School was ranked 22nd (out of 95) in the European Business Schools ranking, 64th (out of 100) in the Executive MBA ranking and, for the 18th consecutive year, 1st in Scandinavia.

The effectiveness of SSE educational programs is mainly a result of the FREE pedagogical mission, which includes developing critical thinking, leadership and self-awareness, social responsibility, cross-cultural education and design thinking.

The SSE Russia Executive MBA program consists of 13 modules (approximately 18 months) including, in addition to the core course, at least 2 international modules, and most importantly, networking with like-minded people and continuous experience exchange.

The EMBA program is regularly updated to meet the challenges of the times and the leaders’ of the future needs. Therefore the EMBA program offers a number of benefits:

CUSTOMISATION. In addition to active personal case studies, individual coaching sessions to enhance leadership potential, business plans building, development and implementation of a change project in the students’ own companies, the program gives participants the opportunity to attend two additional optional modules (electives) in Stockholm, Riga or Russia.

SCANDINAVIAN CONTEXT. The EMBA program of the SSE Russia campus has become as synchronised and is as close as possible to the course content of the programs in the Stockholm School of Economics campuses in Sweden and Latvia. This allows the participants of the program to get acquainted with the European management style and keep themselves updated on the developments in rapidly developing global markets.

EXCHANGE PROGRAM. Through SSE’s membership of GNAM (Global Network for Advanced Management), EMBA program participants have the opportunity to take a module at one of the partner schools, which contributes to international networking and develops cross-cultural skills.

INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABILITY. The EMBA program now has a greater focus on sustainability and business innovation strategy. One international module focusing on innovation will take place in Israel / Dubai and will include both visits to leading local businesses and meetings with entrepreneurs.

FOCUS ON COMMUNICATION AND EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE. Thirteen 5-day modules focus on group work, networking with international experts and faculty-practitioners, who consult for the large companies. Several hours per day in each module are devoted to meetings with entrepreneurs and researchers, including alumni of the SSE EMBA program from previous years. This provides participants with the opportunity to expand their competencies by absorbing the experience and knowledge of others, as well as to build networks that will further support their professional and personal development.
