Stockholm School of Economics Russia: 25.11.20 – Launch of the Executive MBA General Management program (held in Russian)
Traditionally, around 50-60 students are recruited each year for the EMBA GM Program. It is not a lot compared to the giants of Russian education. However, in the Swedish system of education, quality and diversity prevail over quantity, as it is the success stories of graduates that shape the reputation of the university. About 1,200 people, as of the end of 2019, are our reliable resource, consisting of people for whom studying at the Stockholm School of Economics had become a springboard for further growth.
The SSE Russia program is designed for those who has already achieved certain milestones and now wish to obtain a better understanding of how to run their business effectively, needs a solid, well-structured foundation for their operation on a daily basis and would like to expand their expertise in decision-making.
EMBA selects groups consisting of experienced executives, entrepreneurs and business owners representing various industries: finance, IT, manufacturing, media, oil and gas, retail, consulting, wellness and health, publishing and others.
The geography of the group is diverse: participants from Tallinn to Vladivostok and from Stockholm to Tbilisi are attracted by Executive MBA program by both Swedish interactive learning methods based on case studies and personal experience of the participants with the special focus on the Russian market.
In 2020, the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia reviewed and updated its Executive MBA program, focusing even more on global trends that now affect managers in all industries, including digitalization, design thinking, sustainability, value creation, and business ethics. In addition to traditional modules in Moscow, St. Petersburg, new international modules in Sweden and Israel with a deeper insight into the local context has been developed. We also organize joint learning modules with EMBA SSE program participants in Sweden and Latvia for an opportunity to establish cultural and business networking opportunities.

Graduates will acquire the diploma of Executive Master of Business Administration issued by The Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden).
