Charity concert in tribute to the International Day for Children with cancer

AdVITA invites you to the charity concert in tribute to the International Day for Children with cancer on the 17th of February at St. Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy named after Stieglitz (Solyanoy pereulok, 13) at 8 p.m.

In the performance of SYNERGY ORCHESTRA Soloists and Vladimir Rozanov (accordion), Simon Gurevich (violin) you will hear the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Heinrich Biber, Peter Tchaikovsky, Richard Galliano and other classical and contemporary composers. As always, the audience is waiting for the first performance – the name of the song the musicians decided to keep close. Kristina Kuzmina the actress of the Theatrу of Komissarzhevskaya and artists of the dance Liliya Burdinskaya Dance Company will also participate at the concert.

About 200 thousand children in the world become ill with cancer annually. Nearly 5 000 children – in Russia. About 120 children – in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. Childhood cancer develops rapidly, much faster than adults. Therefore, the treatment should be begun immediately, and fundraising – is always urgent. But the children cancer could be treated much better than adults. When high-dose chemotherapy was invented, the most powerful of the results achieved is in pediatric oncology. Now it is possible to cure about 80% of diseased children.

AdVita Foundation is the only one that helps to all children’s oncology department of St. Petersburg, three of which are the federal and accept children from across the country.
