However, by mid of 2021, we had become certain of one thing: it’s that we are bad at predicting the future. No matter how many theories and speculations we make, the VUCA world brings new challenges. What can and what should we as human beings do about that?
As a trendspotting futurologist and author of six books Magnus Lindkvist challenges our whole way of thinking: “Predictions of the future are generated by the present”. He searches and analyses trends that have or could have a significant impact on surrounding reality. He has spent two decades collecting insights from around the world about creators, entrepreneurs, artists and organizations that were able to thrive – not just survive – in times of great shifts.

About speaker:
Magnus Lindkvist is an economist by training and has a background in film school, journalism, book writing, musicianship and management consulting. With a Master of Science in Business and Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and a degree in film production from UCLA, Lindkvist weaves together the worlds of quantitative insights with the imaginative storytelling of Hollywood.
