Georgy Pchelintsev named partner in Dentons’ Intellectual Property and technology practice in Russia

16 March 2017 – Georgy Pchelintsev has been named partner in Dentons’ St. Petersburg office. Prior to his appointment, he had been an Of Counsel in Dentons’ Intellectual Property and Technology practice since 2009.

Pchelintsev focuses on information law, intellectual property and corporate law. He has extensive experience in handling assignments involving the creation and acquisition of intellectual property, e-commerce and cloud technologies, and information technology and telecommunications. Beyond that, he provides support for the daily operations of online businesses and advises on advertising, consumer rights protection and content regulation. He also handles media regulation.

Pchelintsev boasts a wealth of experience in supporting acquisitions of Russian companies in the IT, media and telecommunications sector, structuring Russian and offshore joint ventures, creating international holding structures, and consulting on resistance to unfair competition and the regulation of confidential information.

He graduated from the Law School of St. Petersburg State University in 2003. He also earned a Master of Laws degree (LLM) at King’s College London in 2014.
